Description:
What inspires a designer and how do you make attractive design that promotes health? Where do you find inspiration? How does a shoe's color and shape effect one's joy of movement and general well-being? Ask questions and find inspiration for new possibilities of expression. Meet Cinnamon's designer and founder Ninni Jonsson and learn more about how a design process for high-quality shoes works, that are both stylish and good for the feet! Cinnamon also invites you to become a shoe designer for a day and enter the competition to win the shoes you designed. Regardless of your prior knowledge and circumstances, you can take part in our competition to have your shoes produced! If you have not expressed yourself artistically before, don’t worry, we will guide you. Everyone can design, children are welcome as well. Your design is your entry in the competition on social media. The entry that gets the most votes goes into production and you will get a pair of your shoes in your size! When submitting your contribution, you who are creative will receive a free goodie bag with crafting materials that are remaining after our shoe production (while supplies last). Children who submit a completed shoe drawing will receive a colorful balloon. Cinnamon is a Swedish shoe company with stores in Uppsala, Stockholm, Malmö, Gothenburg and Alingsås, where our designer is based. "Stable soles, wide last and solid natural materials in combination with stylish, attractive and fashionable design. How on earth does it go together?” In 1998, designer Ninni Jonsson was involved in a car accident that caused a foot injury. After that, she received strict advice from doctors to wear personal shoe orthotics from now on and choose her shoes very carefully based on stability and ergonomics. Ninni, who has worked in the fashion industry for many years, got chills just thinking about it. Orthopedic, clumsy and without any sense of style and design? No thanks! This is where the idea for Cinnamon Shoes was born. When Ninni met more and more people who experienced a conflict between ergonomic and fashionable shoedesigns, she was motivated to create something that she and many others were in urgent need of: Stylish shoes that are good for the feet! Choosing good shoes, adapted to your foot, is not only important for the well-being of your feet, but for your whole body and your mental well-being!
