Known Accessibility Issues

Kulturnatten.uppsala.se is partially compliant with the law on accessibility to digital public services. The following issues have been identified on the website:

User settings for colors

The website does not adjust colors to dark mode if you have it set in your operating system or browser.

Screen Readers

We are aware that screen readers currently do not clearly communicate that search results are displayed after a search is performed. Instead, the screen reader starts over from the beginning and reads the entire page again, which may cause confusion for users with visual impairments. We are actively working to address this issue and improve the user experience for everyone.

How we have tested the website

We are continuously working with internal testing of the website's accessibility. In September 2024, the website was also reviewed by Useit Consulting Sweden AB service Aceit.

We update the accessibility statement as soon as we discover new issues and when something has been resolved.
