We’re repeating last year’s success with an exciting event: Trash Dive and Catwalk! On September 13, 2025, from 11 AM to 4 PM, we’ll gather at Tullhuset (Hamnplan 9) in Uppsala to raise awareness about environmental issues related to trash in water and on land. Uppsala Municipality is organizing this in collaboration with divers from Hands2Ocean. During the day, divers will collect trash along the harbor quay, which will then be displayed along a red carpet—our symbolic "catwalk." At 2:30 PM, the divers will walk the live catwalk, showcasing the day’s finds and sharing the importance of taking care of our environment. At the same time, Uppsala’s Yellow Wave (Gula vågen) and local community clean-up groups will be present to inform and engage visitors in picking up litter, reducing pollution, and protecting our local environment. The event is part of Kulturnatten, where art, sustainability, and environmental issues are in focus, and Tullhuset SPA will be selling their organic products throughout the day.
