Date for Kulturnatten Uppsala 2025: September 13
Kulturnatten is an evening when all of Uppsala comes alive with culture in every form – and everyone who wishes to share their creativity is welcome to host an event. It doesn’t matter if you’re an established institution, an association, a business, a freelancer, or an individual. What matters is that you have something cultural to offer – music, theatre, art, dance, literature, film, history, food, crafts, or something else entirely.
Once you've registered your program and it's been approved by us, your event will be featured on the Kulturnatten Uppsala program website.
You can register two types of events:
- Express your interest in performing on one of the municipality’s shared stages, or register to perform in a public space in central Uppsala.
- Register an event that you organize on private premises (for example, in a theatre, a café, or at your own venue).
Reach More Poeple with an Outdoor Event
Want to reach as many people as possible with your event during Kulturnatten Uppsala? Host your event outdoors or apply for a spot on one of the municipality’s stages!
Kulturnatten handle all the permits for outdoor events in central Uppsala during Culture Night – so you can focus entirely on your programme and cultural content. In your application, you can specify a preferred location. While we can’t guarantee that exact spot, we’ll help you find one that suits your needs.
Important Dates for Organizers 2025
- May 30 – Last day to submit applications for outdoor events and apply for spots on the municipality’s stages.
- August 15 – Last day to submit programme items held indoors or on private property.
- September 13 - Time for Kulturnatten Uppsala!
